PARKWOOD LAKEHOUSE.

Parkwood Lakehouse is a net-zero, aging-in-place lake house designed for a couple and an elderly parent to live together.
The entry sequence unfolds through a landscaped courtyard, framing the arrival before opening to the lake beyond. The main residence is organized entirely on a single level, with two ensuite bedrooms, zero-threshold entries, roll-in showers, and generous clearances throughout. The great room orients fully toward the water, with a large deck extending the living space outside.
An attached ADU occupies the upper level, accessible both from the main house and independently from the exterior — allowing the home to flex between a connected family residence and a separately functioning household.
Twenty-one photovoltaic panels on the south-facing roof generate the home's energy on-site. A heat pump water heater, energy recovery ventilator, high-efficiency HVAC, sealed attic and crawl space, and rainwater collection complete a fully integrated approach to sustainable performance.
