Bryan Jacob Samuel NCARB, RA
Owner and Architect

Bryan is an Architect. His designs are context-driven and environmentally-responsive, shaped by an upbringing split across Norway, India, Australia, and the United States. At the heart of his work is a need to create places that feel like home.

He is motivated by conceptually ambitious projects - from the new curved glass elevators for the Space Needle or the world’s first human composting facility - as well as the urgent challenges of urban housing. He specializes in residential architecture, creating carefully crafted homes, ADUs, and middle housing solutions.

Outside of work, Bryan volunteers his time toward architectural mentorship at the University of Washington and the University of Maryland. When he's off-duty, you can find him riding his motorcycle or plunging into the pristine alpine lakes of the Pacific Northwest.

Ravi Bauer INCOSE-SEP
Practice Director

Ravi is a strategic thinker. While his background in high-precision mechanical engineering provides him with an exceptional technical rigor, his rare talent is seeing the bigger picture. Whether he’s directing operations, generating new business, or creating internal analytical tools, his focus is on clearing a thoughtful path for the firm to move forward in the right direction.

Ravi values that his work at srs. supports the creation of spaces that connect people and strengthen neighborhoods. Those are the spaces that matter most to him - places that feel memorable, optimistic, and shared.

Outside of work, Ravi refuels with nature and martial arts, carrying that focus and playful energy back into the studio.

Gijoon Paris Sim AIA, LEED GA
Design & Development Consultant

Paris is a problem solver. As a licensed architect with a background in real estate development, he brings a balance of design excellence and practicality. His work is defined by logic, restraint, and a refined sensibility - he's very often the voice of reason in the room.

He’s been part of srs. since the very beginning, back when it was just a crazy idea between three friends at a dining table. Since then, his steady insight and ingenuity have helped shape the studio’s growth from concept to practice.

Paris’s experience spans South Korea, Qatar, Washington D.C., and most recently with development work in Baltimore. These experiences give him a rare understanding of how architecture can be better designed, coordinated, and delivered.

Outside of work, Paris enjoys traveling, watching soccer, and perfecting his family’s beloved spicy beef jerky recipe.

We also lean on a group of trusted and talented collaborators to provide guidance, perspective, and support throughout the design process.
